Our Coaches

  • This season our teams will work in groups by age level to ensure continuity of training across age levels and the club. Coaches will come to practices with pre-planned drills, activities and goals to achieve. There will be ongoing dialogue between all coaches and the Coaching Director to ensure quality practices as well as regular monitoring of practices by the Coaching Director.

Head Coach: Becky Zelesnikar

Becky Zelesnikar

Becky is a 4th Grade teacher in the Greece School District where she serves as the JV Coach for the Greece Arcadia Titans. She is a 1997 graduate of Moravia HS where she was a 4 year starting varsity setter. Her honors and recognition include All County Honorable Mention, All County 1st team and 2 year Team Captain. Becky went on to play Defensive Specialist at St John Fisher College for four years where she was a 3 time Team Captain, helping her teams to 4 winning seasons including an NCAA Division III tournament appearance.

Becky is a founding member of the CROSSROADS Volleyball Club and in her 3rd season as Head Coach of the FURY 18s team, and 2nd year as Director of Coaching, responsible for Coach recruiting and direction. Prior to Crossroads, Becky coached 6 years for the Primo Volleyball Club with experience coaching at the 12U, 14U and 16U levels. Becky is IMPACT and CAP I certified. Her DESIRE, DEDICATION and DETERMINATION make her a great leader and invaluable asset to the club.

Head Coach: Nikky Klingler

Nikky Klingler

Nikky is in her 4th year as the Varsity Coach for the Greece Arcadia Titans after serving four years as JV coach. She has also served as Varsity coach for the Girls' Varsity Track and Field team. Nikky is a 1999 graduate of Greece Arcadia HS where she was a 3 year varsity volleyball player, playing the outside hitter position. Nikky received All-County 2nd team and Honorable Mention honors and served as Team Captain her senior year. Nikky was also nominated for Athlete of the Year honors as a senior. Nikky played one year of collegiate volleyball as an outside hitter for SUNY Brockport. She then went on to serve as a student assistant for the team the following year. She recently completed her Masters' Degree in Special Education at Roberts Wesleyan College and has assumed a teaching position in the Greece School District.

This is Nikky's 2nd year coaching with CROSSROADS VBC, having coached the 16 Local team last year. She is IMPACT certified and brings years of varsity level playing and coaching experience to the competitive 17s level

Head Coach: Tom Carroll

Tom Carroll

This is Tom's 2nd year coaching with CROSSROADS VBC and the FORCE team, he is IMPACT certified. Tom brings a sincere and genuine desire to improve the level of youth volleyball in our area to the club. His knowledge of technique and the overall game will provide added expertise to the learning environment for the FORCE players.  Tom started playing volleyball in 1992 and continues to be an active participant to date. In 1999, Tom started referee duties for Hot Shots Volleyball. In 2003 he became a member of the New York State Certified Volleyball Officials Association and began referee duties for scholastic volleyball. That same year he began referee duties for Junior Olympic Volleyball as a USA Volleyball [USAV] provisional referee. In 2005, Tom was certified as a USAV Regional Official. Tom has refereed at both boys and girls national qualifiers. He has a combined 15 years of volleyball experience as a player and referee.

Head Coach: Ashley Aman

Ashley Aman

Ashley, a Dec. 2007 graduate of Keuka College with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, is a stand-out volleyball athlete at the college, high school and club levels. Ashley comes off a 4-year stint as starting outside hitter for the Keuka College Storm volleyball team. Ashley served as co- captain for 3 seasons while at Keuka. She served as a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Council and was the female representative for the college at the NCAA Leadership Conference. In 2006 Ashley was named the NYS and Keuka College Student Employee of the Year for her duties as head lifeguard. Ashley is a 2004 graduate of Wayne Central High School where she was a 4 year starter, 3 year team MVP, 3 year team co-captain and 3 year Finger Lakes East 1st team selection. Additionally, Ashley played 7 years of club volleyball with the Primo Volleyball Club and Volley FX, including 1 year with the VFX Magic 18-1 team.

This will be Ashley's first year coaching with Crossroads Volleyball club. Ashley has coached several recreational camps and clinics and is currently working towards her Impact certification. Ashley is certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Red Cross. She is also certified to teach these courses as well as lifeguarding through the American Red Cross. Ashley will bring a great deal of enthusiasm and love for the game of volleyball to Crossroads and is looking forward to sharing her energy and knowledge with the club!

Head Coach: Jess Hays

Jess Hays

Jess is a 2007 graduate of Canandaigua Academy where she played 6 years of volleyball, earning 2 Varsity letters. She was a member of the 2005 Class A State runner-up team, served as Co-Captain her senior year, earned honors as a Section 5 Class AA All-Star and achieved the highest serve percentage and service aces in both years of her varsity campaign. Jess played 6 years of club volleyball and is a founding member of Crossroads Volleyball. She has experience as a setter and outside, middle and right side hitter. Jess is currently a freshman at Keuka College where she is enrolled in the Unified Childhood Education program, works with the Keuka Storm volleyball team and is involved in the Big Brother-Big Sister program. Jess' coaching experience includes 2 summers as a camp counselor for 5th-8th graders at Canandaigua Academy in 2004 & 2005.

This is Jess' 1st year as a coach with Crossroads. She brings a strong knowledge and understanding of the game, ability to share her knowledge and an immense passion for and dedication to the sport. She will be completing her IMPACT certification this winter and is eager to begin her role as a coach.

Head Coach: Kristina Spring

Kristina Spring

Kristina is a 2002 graduate of Greece Arcadia High School where she was a 3 year Varsity volleyball starter at outside and middle hitter. Kristina garnered 2nd Team All-County and Honorable Mention and served as team captain her senior year. She went on to play 2 years of collegiate volleyball as a middle and right side hitter at Elmira College and earned both Empire 8 Rookie of the Week and NYSWCAA Player of the Week honors. She also played 5 years of club volleyball with VolleyFX. Kristina is a Dec. 2007 graduate of Brockport State College with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education. She spent her last semster student teaching at Twelve Corners Middle School where she served as Assistant Modified Coach for the Brighton Barons. This is Kristina's first year with Crossroads Volleyball. She has completed coursework in Coaching Fundamentals and Athletic Training and will complete IMPACT certification this winter. Kristina brings great excitement and enthusiasm for both the sport of volleyball and instilling a passion for the sport in young athletes. She is a great addition to the club.

This is Kristina's 1st year with Crossroads VBC following both a very successful High School and College volleyball career.

Assistant Coach: Alli Britton

Alli Britton

Allison is a 2005 graduate of Waterloo Central School where she played 5 years of volleyball and earned Most Improved Player and Exceptional Senior honors in her senior campaign. She served as Assistant Varsity Coach at Midlakes HS in 2006 and played with the Xtreme Volleyball Club for 2 years. Allison is a Dec. 2007 graduate of Monroe Community College.

This is Allison's first year with Crossroads Volleyball. She looks forward to completing her IMPACT certification this winter and being part of the Crossroads coaching team. Along with her volleyball experience, Alli brings an abundance of excitement and energy for coaching.

Head Coach: Becky Rouland

Becky Rouland

Becky is a founding member and Alumni of CROSSROADS VOLLEYBALL. A 2006 graduate of Midlakes HS, Becky played 4 years of varsity volleyball as the starting setter for the Screaming Eagles. Her honors and recognition were numerous and included Finger Lakes East All-League 2nd Team, 2 year Finger Lakes East Honorable Mention, Team MVP and MIP honors, 2 year Team Captain, Exceptional Senior, 3 time Jason Owens Memorial Award recipient for her leadership, 3 year feature in Who's Who Among American High School Students, Sports Edition and a Daily Messenger Prep Profile. She played Club Volleyball for 5 years. She is currently attending Geneseo State College with studies in Criminal Justice and Psychology.

This is Becky's 2nd year coaching with CROSSROADS VBC after serving as assistant Coach for the 18 Fury team last year ; she is IMPACT certified and has completed her athletic coaching certification. She has worked and volunteered for many years with Pee Wee volleyball and summer youth coaching programs as well as performing referee duties. Becky's positive attitude, enthusiasm, knowledge and leadership make her a great asset to the club and team.

Assistant Coach: Sarah Kolb

Becky Rouland

Sarah is a graduate of Bishop Grimes Jr/Sr High School where she played 6 years of volleyball as both a middle and outside hitter. Sarah is curently a second year student at RIT majoring in New Media/Publishing with a minor in Communications. Plays on and captains a club volleyball team there. She has attended 4 consecutive Nike volleyball camps and has experience teaching technique to younger players.

This is Sarah's first year coaching with CROSSROADS VBC. She is very eager to be involved with the program and particularly the 14s team.
